Competent renting means to link the interests between tenant and landlord in such a way that all decision-relevant characteristics for the apartment to be rented are contained in the exposé and transparency about the future users of the apartment is created for the owner. In this way, from our experience, sustainably successful tenancies are contractually established.

The following creditworthiness documents are to be submitted uniformly by each applicant:

• Self-disclosure (PDF download)
• Current credit rating (Schufa), not older than 6 weeks
• Rent-free certificate of the previous landlord
• 3 salary declarations
• other comparable income documents

The same requirements do not only create a high transparency for the landlord, but also a fair selection criterion for all apartment applicants.
